Of course yes less delete anything that doesn’t agree with how i think . That is the most impotent idea is to squash any thing that don’t fit with my ideas and the freedom of just posting to be an asshole.

The … opposite of “OMMM” is “MOOO”. If a person sits crrross-legged in a meditation position, their legs form an X shape. Exit denotes, death and if somebody sits long enough in a cross-legged meditation position they’ll die most probably. I have meditated, myself, using several … expressions and practised Yoga postures a bit. I’m just really mentioning ommm is the opposite of mooo.

@deadite137 lol @ over-bloated. Exactly as stated: marijuana does not benefit coping skills as your response indicates. Nonetheless, I for one would love to see marijuana legalized, if not for the fact that its use would be severely limited in public, more so than cigarettes, to the dismay of many a naive pot head. Hail to the great Khan!!!

@Lamentfordeath I don’t care about whether someone can be behaviorally addicted to marijuana. If that was the necessary distinction than there would be loads of things that should be illegalized (video games, sex, salty foods, etc…) the whole point of this enormously over bloated conversation was to say that marijuana does not contain a substance in of itself that causes the subject to become chemically addictive. This is the last response i’m wasting on this subject.

@deadite137 So you admit that it is addictive?
Lamentfordeath says:

@deadite137 Yes, that is a very clinical definition of chemical addiction, though it varies from person to person. Psychological addiction, however, is less predictable and tends to happen with individuals who have minimal social coping skills.

The key clinical test of whether a substance is a drug of abuse potential or not is whether administration of the drug reduces the amount of electrical stimulation needed to produce self-stimulation response, or dopamine production. This is an indication that a drug has reinforcing properties, and that an individual’s use of the drug can lead to addictive and other harmful behavior.

@Lamentfordeath Your friends most likely have a behavioral addiction to cannabis. There are never any signs of withdraw from quitting smoking (except in the following article they mention there has been but only with enormous quantities in small laboratory animals). Many people also have a difficult time quitting eating unhealthy foods which similarly produce rewarding feelings but i doubt you would refer to that as a chemical addiction.

@deadite137 Yes, it called THC. it gives you the relaxed, dreamy feeling that becomes addictive. If it wasnt addictive then most people I know who smoke it on a regular basis would have no problem existing without it. So, yes, it fits the definition of addictive quite well.

@Lamentfordeath I’m aware that anything can technically be addictive. Let me be more specific: nothing addictive IN marijuana.

@4z4r3th To make a judgment of another is to rationalize our own decision. I personally enjoy marijuana, I’m guessing from your statement that you do not. Being sick and tired of the choices of others is an illusion, their choices have no bearing on you. Being hateful of another whose decision does not directly harm you is a waste of time. You can only control yourself, and great lives have been lived without the benefit of controlling others.

@deadite137 Theres two kinds of addiction: Chemical and Psychological. Marijuana usually falls within the psychological category of addiction. So to say something isnt addictive is non-sense. anything can be addictive, but of course it depends on with what and how much one is addicted that determines debilitation.
